They have MDMs with all phones or just LG classics.
yes, meshimer MDM
So I got myself a brand new s22 flip, I want to get android auto running properly, and afterwards filter it with Meshimer MDM, is there clear step by step instructions?
I’m fairly technical but I’d still need guidance
I don’t think you can remove a certified tag-approved filter just by flashing it. Only makeshift, homemade filters are that vulnerable.
We aren’t talking removing filter by flashing. We are talking about flashing a brand new unfiltered phone
I know i know, but someone reported it and i wanted to clarify
Question to those that got Android Auto working on Cat S22 flip, does it work wirelessly through Bluetooth (on supported vehicles)?
I think that has to do with the AA receiver. Not the device. But, I might be wrong…
Ok
so I got kitty2 installed!
AA works, a bit lagging (expected( but not wirelessly, the phone shows Android Auto wireless connection available for Toyota Sienna but the vehicle says must plus in USB. Not sure why, not the end of the world but how I wish it would work wirelessly
But my bigger concern is that on my other S22 flip I was heavily using the sip calling function in the phone app, that menu seems to have disappeared on the kitty2 ROM (android discontinued it)
Is the developer of kitty2 on here? Is there a way to restore sip calling?
PM welcome
@NotABird is the developer I believe
What’s sip?
Hmm… to get android auto to run wirelessly is kind of a task. it’s another level…
Yes I had that as well. Waze would sometimes crash on me…
In case you didn’t know, you can buy a little piece that you plug into your car and it makes you have AA wireless.
I don’t think the dev @NotABird is on here really during the zman.
I know I can get an adapter, but it’s a pity since the vehicle does support it, also Sienna only has one media port and I’d have to give it away to AA
Wireless Android Auto has stricter requirements:
- Wi-Fi Direct and 5GHz Wi-Fi capability. (As far as I know s22flip doesn’t support 5ghz wifi)
- The phone must support simultaneous Wi-Fi and Bluetooth connections in the required mode (not all chipsets do). (As far as I know s22flip doesn’t support)
