  4. PlainApp (com.ismartcoding.plain)

    • Securely manage your phone from a web browser
    • Access files, media, contacts, SMS, calls through desktop interface

  5. RTranslator (nie.translator.rtranslator)

    • Open-source, free, offline real-time translation app

  6. Tidy (com.slavabarkov.tidy)

    • Text-to-Image search on your phone

Version 1.36 released. This one is UI changes only. The login screen has been redone:

The Export Config screen is now scrollable so that it can work on small screens.

Version 1.37 released

App installation blacklist. You can block certain apps from ever being installed without blocking all app installation.
Gif blocking in GBoard fixed.
Accessiblity service bypasses fixed
Disable Adding New Wifi Networks

We also started initial work on image blocking in apps, but don’t have that done yet.

awesome. not sure if this is possible but maybe have a way to block apk installs but allow certain apps to install (i.e. my KosherAppStore :grinning_face: ) or maybe just a toggle to disable the activity without root.

also not sure if this is possible but have an option to block certaine apps from internet accses

Is there anyway to make android auto work with egate? Non rooted phone all is says I need now is Google app which is hidden with egate

Instead of hiding the app with eGate, you can use the accessibility service to close the app when it opens.

reporting a bug on egate v1.34 - turned off airplane mode and egate crashed and the accseibity feature wasnt working all the other things were fine. but it wasnt jumping out of webview - when i tried to turn it off accseibility in settings it turned itself back on and starting working normally - i am on a qin f21 pro (older version) with the new services.jar to fix accseibility issue

@FlipAdmin, password reset isn’t working on a Cat S22.
Don’t know which version of eGate.

If the password reset button shows, does that mean that password reset was set up (I put in an email in egate settings)?

Yes, it doesn’t show up otherwise. Is your network filtered and blocking the request, perhaps?

No, I think it was on data.

It showed something saying that the email was sent.

Does that mean that it actually was?

i upgraded to v1.37 and i i noticed that the accsibilty cn be turned off with quick enough taps and then it doesnt turn itself back on like in the previous version. (qin with services.far fix).

i also noticed that the “jump feature“ doesnt seem to be configured for the screen with the dialog box to turn of accesibilty. and it doesnt jump out of that page

This is the challenge with accessibility based filtering, it’s hard to make it work with every phone.

ah sorry i meant to write that in v1.34 this wasn’t an issue since the accessibility automatically restarted even if you managed to turn it off. could be a bug in 1.37

@FlipAdmin can you make a simple version of the MDM for Flip phones like to block apk install factory reset and developer options and get rid of all the fancy stuff because when you are using Dpad its annoying to have all the extras

Possibly. I’m going to be doing a bunch of work on eGate this week, so maybe I can look at it.
