Fig Master Thread

I’m having issues getting my android auto to work anyone have any solutions (I only got it working once)

try clearing the data on the android auto app

Has anybody got an image of the Fig Flip 2 motherboard without the shields(/shields removed)?

Want to avoid opening one up

FIG-2-Internal-Photos.pdf (1.9 MB)

Excellent, I must not have scrolled all of them
Thank you

In case you need a plan for your Fig that includes hotspot, 5G, unlimited data, and is fast enough to stream video, FigCellular has the plan for you!

Their “unlimited” is throttleled to 128 kbps after you use a certain amount. It does not say the amount though for unlimited. Probably not more then 10 gb.

It says a lot of different contradictory things depending where on their site you look.

Signs of a badly made AI generated website

It actually looks a lot more like a template site from whichever provider they’re using (whover is the actual MVNO), that someone did a half hearted attempt at editing.

It’s done so poorly, I have hard time believing it was AI.

Lol I happen to know that for a fact… It’s not really an MVNO, they have special rates with the carriers and they white label it for other resellers.

T Mobile

I know the company they use to bridge between them and T Mobile

Ya, it’s a famous issue and they are working hard to resolve it, it happened in the system update V1.7.1 when they added Android Auto, the issue is mostly with MMS, the issue is basically that wanted to save battery so they restricted some apps from working in the background with the messages app included, so MMS some times don’t download when the phone is in deep sleep and sometimes until you open the app and then if you have a lot of messages it gets jammed from all the downloads and then you see all the downloading messages, the best thing that you can do now to preventing it from happening, although it’s not guaranteed, is to go to Settings > Battery > Battery Manager > and turn it off, if you’re in a situation where your phone is already jammed I would recommend to clear storage by long pressing on the messages app > App info > Storage and Cache > Clear storage and then wait the conversation should load back, make sure you have Cellular connection, you won’t lose any messages, but all the group names will be deleted and archived messages will get unarchived, pinned will get unpinned and so on, like the app was originally, then you will see all the download messages with an option to tap to download, then download once at a time and if it doesn’t download just delete it, and hopefully it will make the messages come in from now on, (till it gets jammed again… )

Thanks!
