Use the older version 9.3.5 it works fine, they only shutdown the newest versions

If it’s not so user friendly why are there thousands of one star reviews on Google messages from VZW customers that switched over from message+
In many ways Google msgs is undeveloped and outdated, and the whole rcs thing is a scam, it only works android to android it won’t send rcs to iPhones rcs.

I noticed someone mentioned on reddit to shut off auto-update in the play store. It hit me that that is probably what happened overnight, the play store updated it and it didn’t have pair to PC option anymore.
Right now my play store is disabled so it can’t update the app. I installed the apk and for now the pair to pc is working great! Yay!

Which version did you have to install to have Pair to PC?
I had one downloaded from a few months ago from apk pure. But I believe any apk should work. The issue is when getting it from the play store it doesn’t come with the link to pc option because play store knows the phone is rooted / and the bootloader is unlocked. Which is not the case when you use the apk.
IIRC The apk from apps for flip doesn’t have it because they took it out.
