Libertix - Install Linux Over Windows With An EXE!

This is not a huge famous project, but this guy is starting somewhere…

I actually always did it with no USB, like create a disk partition in windows wizard, flash it and reboot to it, but I’m happy now there’s a tool for it.

If it’s bugless, then it will really dig deep into Microsoft.

Check it out:

I saw another tool like this a while ago but who doesn’t have a USB?

Don’t ask questions about dumb people. But think about it - a USB is just another step… do it with an EXE… bang. No? Also, i personally always struggle with getting the pc into bios, boot selection etc. like every pc is different, is it default FN or not… whatever…

You can install Linux and then when starting the computer chose whether to use linux or windows?

Yeah that’s grub.

Do NOT format disk if you do not want to overwrite Windows partition during Linux install.

Uch, I hate asking stupid questions but that’s the only way to find out. What does Grub mean?

Linux bootloader pretty much

Stupider alternative to reFind.
