Does anyone have experience with this phone?

Regarding accessing developer options, filtering, installing apps etc.

A while ago I made a custom recovery for it. I was able to enable adb, install apps, and root the phone. As expected, the phone’s app handling is absolutely horrific. I didn’t try many things related to apps on it, but with this custom recovery, kashering it takes 2 seconds. The bootloader comes unlocked, so you won’t lose any data flashing it.

Also, you could access all partitions through EDL with a generic firehose. (which is how I got stock boot and recovery)

How do I get it in edl mode

If I remember correctly, plugging in a cable while holding both volume buttons

Can you send that recovery?

how do i access developer options?

No way as far as I’m aware. I don’t think the menu exists.

is there a way to access adb?

There is. Once you have access to the system, you could set adb_enabled to 1. I don’t want to share how to do this publicly because I don’t want to lower the kashrus standard of that phone.

Doesn’t sound that hard but what Kashrus will it affect? Also why cant you enable with the same method for adb

Once you have ADB you could install apps. Not doing much by letting people install apps because the phone can’t handle them, but I still don’t want to post how to do it.

I think you’re talking about the developer options menu. I don’t think it exits o the phone.

does anyone have the firehose for this?

IIRC, it is the same firehose as the ANS F30. You can find it here: GitHub - 9cb14c1ec0/adb_on_ans_f30: How to get adb access on an ANS F30 flip phone

doesnt work unless i entered edl wrong

Likely. Try QFIL

i tried but i still need the firehose

@FlipAdmin posted it at this link, but here’s the one I used:
