my theory on why i cant change the services.jar using root - theres some code somewhere that doesnt allow adding thing to /system and if you try even with root after remounting as RW it gives an error that the system partition is full and even though it isnt
so when i tried to replace the services.jar it deleted the old one but couldnt put the new one correctly

Also try and accesibility app after you replace and see if background app kill is solved too
it booted but adb install still failed
im gonna try having claude code compare the services.jar of the old phone to the new phone and see if it finds the issue
Doubt understand why you won’t just put gms in build.prop if you are putting on gapps anyway

i was planning on do that all along but i had never known that fixed the issue. though the googled version they sent me adb install didnt work either but its bossible those idiots didnt put gms in the build.prop despite the googled build

2 things, you are adding gms anyway, and second, tell me exactly what you did so far and we can go further. Maybe they added more restrictions NOT in services.jar

im in the procces of adding google services etc… adding gms to the build.prop wasnt enough

i havent finished compiling the system_a but in general adb just says failure and nothing more. when i flash this new system_a image ill have more info from logcats
