What are the new files? Curious
anything else you think could make the new super not work
Make sure you use boot and dtbo (and everything else really, aside from super) from new phone firmware
Just letting you know this is all an “educated” guess
Send me the boot and dtbo that’s how I found all differences last time
Kernel and device tree
thank you so much. im like bugging out cause i have like 20 people waiting for phones really appreciate
Can’t do right now, but hopefully tonight or over the weekend. Reply to this tonight.
But also, try doing everything stock aside from super, and copy new /vendor/firmware additions into old vendor before building super
will do. crb kitchen right
Windows, forsure yeah
if its to much work and your willing to do it. im happy to pay you
scratch that - more than happy to pay and help wherever i can
We shall see
You can do the same I would do… It’s no secret that I’m a big fan of Claude. I see you use it too.
2 directories:
- old
- new
In each directory:
- boot
- dtbo
- vendor
First, explain the issue (in as much detail as possible, spend time on it).
Have Claude extract kernel, device tree and vendor from both new and old directories.
Guide it to find ANY differences in kernel, device tree, and vendor from both new and old.
Ask how to make the new hardware work with the old super.
The end.
Call it AI slop, I call it a time saver. Be there EVERY step of the way to guide it away from obvious mistakes.
right but ive never done this before this will be my first time usinfg crb kitchen ![]()
i usually make edits in twrp and pull with mtkclient. (newb move i know)
Try
you got this just need to focus
PLAN MODE WITH EXTREME REVIEW.
Spend an hour on planning if you have to. Ask what tools you will need to install for it to accomplish it’s task.
never used plan mode - how do i make the most out of it
Don’t exit plan mode until it makes COMPLETE sense.
I save the plan to the root directory, clear Claude, and tell it to implement the plan, to save context.
Don’t forget to include drivers as part of your query.
And keep thinking on.
If you have access to opus 4.5, use it.
i have opus 4.5 and what do you mean by drivers
