There’s really no need, once you are done, pull super, share, and shoin
2.2.2
@dfrydman got the hovotek boot?
Yes.
Red charger port.
MQ in the serial.
Phone boot logo is Qin (Not duoqin).
Version is 3.0.2
I have all the files with CM2MT2
@Aron and I just made a “1.1.1” - restrictions and admin removed + background app kill fix. No gapps yet.
With his Internet we will have it in a few weeks ![]()
whats up i was able to flash everything successfully but after flashing gapps and putting back on the orignal boot it stays stuck in orange state boot menu
Thanks @Aron (I’m still getting trauma from that anydesk session haha)
Here’s a starting point for anyone to continue.
3.0.2, No Gapps, patched
- device admin removed
- adb restrictions lifted
- background app kill prevention patch applied
https://github.com/alltechdev/awesome-qin-f21-pro/releases/download/v3/vbmeta.bin
fastboot --disable-verity --disable-verification flash vbmeta vbmeta.bin
(won’t be able to mount r/w without)
Haven’t tested flashing with spflashtool, only fastboot, but I don’t see why it shouldn’t work.
Will add it to the mega guide later.
Thank you very much!
Is there any guide you will have so I can mod my own ROM version I have for the old version? I have already a ROM I made for the old version and also a version with the Audio fix but is it possible we will have a tutorial to make the newer version myself? Thanks for everything and for everyone helping.
Part of it is a script to remove device admin with root. Not sure I can post this here.
Yeah, you need root, but I dunno.
One thing to mention @dfrydman reminded me that this ROM does not include the duraspeed.xml Defaults that I included in 6.1.3
For notifications to work properly without root, the file has to be created and pushed, or built into rom, and with root, you can use DuraSpeed Whitelist Manager from the background app kill guide.

4/64 version from AliExpress could also arrive new hardware?
not 100% sure but i dont see why not
working twrp for NEW qin phones
- has ADB
- cant mount data (even unencrypted) working on it
super with working gapps coming soon also ill be posting an edited lk.img to get rid of the unlocked bootloader warning and 5 second delay
SUPER WITH GAPPS (not kosher) (99% chance it has SPYWARE)
huge thanks to @ars18 (yes he was right that the issue was in product and neither of us know why??)
how i did it:
- flash gapps using the twrp i posted earlier
- add these lines to build.prop in product at the end

if people could confirm it is working and help with removing/finding spyware that would be greatly appreciated
it appears these phones dont work in america even after flashing the f30 bands. anyone else having this issue.
i think this might be the end of the qin era
I was told from a couple of Chinese suppliers that was exactly it’s intended point
Not sure if it has to do with the whole situation with the manufacturers deal with the f30
The f30 was supposed to be the only workable USA version initially
