There are still plenty of suppliers that have
true but some of them wont gurantee you receive the olde version so its risky still
All I’m saying is to say that China is sold out of the older ones is totally false because there are many suppliers that still have them and there are those that will guarantee it’s the old one as well
But I do agree with you there are those suppliers that won’t guarantee you the old ones

In enginering mode everything appears to be the same
im still trying to get a refund from alibaba if that dont work then ill try credit card.

In the end is this ROM working in the US?
To the best of my knowledge Us bands are not (yet?) available for qin v3

@ars18 i dont know if it helps you , but i got the mddb.xml from the md1img of the firmware (the new f21 rom with the new hw) - i think you can try to write to the nvdata file maybe it has new offsets and you can look it at that file (but maybe you already did it so i just posting it anyway).
