in by google assistant it comes up by the hey google feature that is not supported on this device

What carrier? New phone? stock 613 imei or your own?
Us mobile warp. Not a new phone. Stock imei.
I did have RCS registered on this number from a different phone.
Also it was saying verifying for a while till I went into more settings and pressed one of the options there (can’t remember which one) and after a reboot it worked.
Did you test with more than one sim? Maybe something’s off with that specific number…
I have T-Mobile and RCS is connected with 6.1.3 ROM
