Unfortunately, so far the phone is only available through T-mobile, although one redditor claims that Sonim said that they will be releasing an unlocked version soon.
Because its so new (I think it was released somewhere around December '24), there isn’t too much information about it out there besides for what Sonim tells us, but it seems to just be an upgraded version of the Xp3plus, the same way the Xp3plus is an upgraded version of the Xp3.
That said, those upgrades are pretty awesome, and I’m waiting for them to release an unlocked version and then buying it asap.
Can you post a link or pictures because i called sonim and they said that phone doesn’t exist… According to then the only phone that came out in december '24 and running android 14 was the xppro which is a smartphone…
I had a sonim xp5s for a while right arrow button stopped working, got another one same thing ended up happening let me know how good this one turns out to be.
