They told him they are sending an update next week for T9 to work.

A short review of the phone so far
I have the Keyphone with the T9 keypad (20MP camera), and Iâve been using it for the last 2-3 weeks.
The physical phone is really impressive! Itâs sturdy, clear, and comfortable to hold (a bit slippery), has clear loud speakers, and good screen quality (although a bit small)
The buttons are pleasant and responsive, plus there are 3 extra buttons on the side for quick access to apps. Each one supports 3 actionsâsingle click, double click, and hold (not yet customizable).
(The middle button is a bit small, and the two touch buttons are something you have to get used to.)
The camera is decent (I expected a bit moreâmaybe it still needs some software work).
BTW I donât really see the difference between the 13MP and the 20MP.
Reception is great (in places where other phones donât get good reception).
Overall, itâs very fast and responsive.
The battery is okayâit lasts me about a day+ with not very heavy usage.
The software is different story.
The UI is nice, but many basic features are currently missing, and quite a few things are frustrating.

There are also many small conveniences missing that are very important, for example scrolling tabs in Contacts and Recent Calls.
In addition, all the good features they wrote that the phone will eventually have are still missingâfor example: Android Auto, (E-SIM), Google Pay, Google Sync, Emailâwhich are actually the reasons I bought the phone.
On the other hand, you can see that things are being built very thoughtfully and with a lot of care.

Great review! Overall, I would say the T9 keyboard feels much more pleasant to use than the QWERTY keyboard. Tiny D-Pad still bothers me (and @Dev-in-the-BM_2.0) much more than it seems to bother youâŚ

A big update was released today.
A few more settings, including date and time, about phone, and a new option in settings called âapplication managerâ that allows you to stop, clear cache and storage of their apps.
The about section gives you a lot of info about your device, and is custom as well.
They cleaned the interface of the calculater and looks much better now.
They added t9 for the the phones that have a t9 keyboard.
They added speech to text.
They added a world map.
The music player now playing interface is new.
They removed the feedback app (it will be replaced with âkey hubâ as per their support).

Yes, but the person that renamed a group in the messaging app to a few hundred emojis is still on the loose.

Why remove the app before the replacement arrives?
How do you change to T9 typing? and what button do you use to backspace/delete in the t9 keyboard. has to be something simple but I canât for the life of me figure these things out.
Should work by default, did you get the update? Backspace is the button next to end, has an arrow.
kinda what I thought should happen. but it was just going back like it does with qwerty board. and i couldnât get it to switch to t9 just abc
Did you actually get the update? On my wifeâs phone she didnât get the update right away I restarted and then she got it.
Do you have the world clock?
I know this sounds lame but it fixes many issues on many devices, restart your device.
I think the t9 typing update only works with the t9 keyboard
