There is a security feature that will not allow software updates when rooted. Any workarounds?

What version are you trying to update from and to which version.
NEVER UPDATE A PHONE THROUGH THE STOCK SYSTEM UPDATES WHILE YOUR BOOTLOADER IS UNLOCKED!
That’s a great way to lose your data and brick your phone.

my experience on flip 2 was after update a hard reset unbricked
Weird. My phone bricked after trying to get into recovery after a failed system update.
Simple no. Bootloader needs to be locked. (Except if you know how to sign ROMs. Like me. Yes. I learnt how to do that. Yup. I’m bragging)
Rest of this thread is stomachaches.

its more than that the settings app detects its rooted and says can’t update since rooted
keez to kefs. Anyone have them?
I Just need kefh and kefs the rest the system skips anyway.
