I tried to start with metrolist
But I got into trouble with the computer’s filtering that Python wouldn’t even start running because of blocked links

Here’s the problem:

YouTube provides audio in two formats:

audio/mp4 (AAC), saved as .m4a but it’s DASH fragments, not taggable

audio/webm (opus), saved as .webm, also not taggable

I can try with ffmpeg, but the app would be 10 times the size…

Do music players pick up cover art if in the same folder?

Metadata embedding - Downloaded M4A files now contain embedded metadata:

• Cover art
• Title, Artist, Album, Year
• Full UTF-8 support (Hebrew, etc.)

Simplified filenames - Now Song.m4a instead of Artist - Song.m4a

When searching videos it only plays the audio.
