Iā€™m having massive issues whatever I try.

  • YouTube in Firefox
  • YouTube official app
  • metrolist
  • zemer
  • yt-dlp more warnings and workaround itā€™s doing

Tried with multiple Google accounts and with no account, with or without VPNā€¦ So yeah YouTube is messing around. Definitely wait a bit before updating.

When downloading update through the app and trying to install I get message that app not installed. Using tcl 2 . Thanks again for your amazing work.

@ars18 have you seen this? Someone told me they us it and itā€™s stable and has a lot of features, maybe you can work off it?

(I personally donā€™t use zemer so not like a request or anything, just maybe itā€™ll be easier for u, no clue)
Edit: just remembered you working off metrolist and itā€™s prob the same thingā€¦ Or notā€¦ Idk lmk :man_shrugging: (also metrolist is pro Palestine)

Update: after giving up and logging in with anonymous (which worked) I later tried YouTube in Firefox again and it started working and so did metrolist. Now I went to try again zemer while signed into Google and it failed again with the same issue. (Staying on web_creator and just waiting without playing forever). Then I went back to metrolist and firebox and it started having those issues again (those issues means keeps pausing every few seconds and I have to manually keep pressing play every 2 second) and then I went back to anonymous in zemer and firebox and metrolist were fixed once again.

TLDR: when signed into Google in zemer and playing (or trying to) a song, anywhere I try YouTube gets messed up. Weird but probably a lead

Again, personal advice: wait a week or 2 before updating again so you donā€™t get burned outā€¦

Filter blocking webview? Entire potoken and cipher running through webview.

I uninstalled the new version of webview as it caused the flickering issues in gmail app on android tablets.

Maybe related.
