Zemer Bugs Comments and Feedback

Thanks

If you edit you help everyone (99 percent sure it’s wired properly).

If you guys saw the lyrics backend… Crazy

I was thinking similar to the lyrics. I don’t know what the lyrics backend looks like but I assume your not typing each songs lyrics, rather have an ai detect the lyrics and put it on the song lyrics sheets. I assume you can do the same thing for chords- have an ai run each song once, detect all chords, and write up a chords sheet for the song.

Basically the same thing as lyrics, just in chords.

Unless I’m wrong in how the lyrics is currently set up

I meant to say that the lyric feature is amazing, I just took a screenshot of the edit page. I have 2 ideas for you. Train a local AI model on Yiddish and then extract all words of the songs and add timestamps.

Once that is done, make the song recognition work with humming, kinda like google.

Also do it for free, I am a strong believer in free and open source…

Basically right now in order to select all lyrics text in order to copy you have to select the edit option, which then has timestamps on each line. Was just wondering if there’s another way of selecting all the lyrics text cuz I didn’t see any from just messing around

We are not holding there yet. Step 1 - scour the Internet for a multitude of available lyrics sources, RE available unauthenticated endpoints, check quality, and have AI match first by artist name, title, etc… then have a whisper model or two verify some chunks… It’s a lot

Later I’m going to try actually writing but Jewish lyrics are complicated… Feeding it every sefer that ever existed

All your ideas are great, but they come after an insane amount of harvesting first.

Ads will be coming eventually, to make me at least a little happy after all this time.

Here’s where zemer lyrics are holding… But the apps other providers have a lot more. Wonder how long musixmatch will last.

Setting up a constant large-v3-turbo on my home pc as the zemer server is not nearly as powerful. Should move faster.

Probably a diesel engine, no?

Just wanna say… Tokens ain’t free

If you guys think I have not spent much on zemer… Think again

And @Creed there will be small thin banners on the home page, even though it takes up some real estate. Will look classy though.

Would it be possible to sync the zemer lyrics DB between zemer and metrolist?

You mean you want zemer lyrics provider on metrolist? I can ask Nyx if they would add it if that’s what you mean. The Jewish community is small on metrolist though so not sure.

We were talking today about possibly sharing a model to take all lyrics not timestamped and get word by word sync running, but like I said, Jewish lyrics are more complicated.

Yeah that’s what I meant, I would really appreciate it. I have a few friends that use Metrolist as well.

Obviously (only) in KMP version of Metrolist once it’s released.

I asked, sent a message. I doubt it though but we’ll see.

It’s very simple to plug in to either. Just like any other lyrics provider. My server takes care of everything and supplies a simple API.

Have a large source of (real) Yiddish text? Not yinglish

Scrape Ivelt.com…

I thought so. But alot of yinglish no?

Ivelt is written the way Yiddish is spoken these days.

I know but music is less yinglish. Unless I haven’t listened to much today music these days, only oldies.

Do they spell right or just shorthand

If you want I can lend you a computer.

Has 96gb ram
