The only thing I did the last few days that may have triggered it is downloading triplesu and enabling speed up device. I also downloaded on whatsapp the option to enable voice notes transcript. The package was around 130 mb.
Even so, itâs probably not a firmware issue but something you did with root. Now your only option if you want to keep your data is to flash a stock boot image.
If you ever want to root it again, youâll first have to wipe it.
This has happened to me many times.
I have one of my tclâs that says âsecure boot failureâ when turning on and even when trying to enter fastboot.
Does that mean that itâs completely bricked?
My opinion is that if you canât fix it itâs good for parts, but I would first try to fix it.
I ainât the only expert in TCLs here. @ys770 is quite knowledgeable in the field.
If anybody has a full Rom backup would it work to flash through sp flashtool? To me that seems the only thing possible since fastboot wouldnât work to flash empty vb stuff. Unless there is a custom recovery.
Edit: I donât know sp but its possible just to flash vb stuff if you have a scatter without flashing full Rom am i right?
Update:
I went to recovery and pressed try again and the phone turned on. I am not sure what caused that.
This is what I did while the phone wasnât restarting. I disabled VB using the empty one. Didnât help. I disabled using the regular one. Didnât help. Went to recovery pressed try again and it worked.
