After removing an app with adb. Is there a way on the LG classic to remove the icon and replace it like on some of the kyoceras? Or would a button mapper be my only option to map apps and the launcher.
The launcher would require modification as the apps are built in to the launcher instead of calculated based on what apps are installed
It’s possible you can do it by renaming the app package to match what used to be in that place on the launcher.

I dont think it works like tcl because tcl you are actually removing it from system while classic its just uninstalled for that user not from the phone so the packages will conflict when you install it
