For a while now, I’ve been posting stuff here on JTech that are basically full-length articles and it eventually reached the point where they needed a dedicated home. That’s how my blog, Ctrl, Shift, Esc, finally got off the ground.
It’s basically a central spot for the same type of content I’ve been sharing here, just better organized, grouped into three main categories:
- Typed with T9: Reviews of dumbphones and kosher devices.
- Dialing Down: Digital minimalism tips and news
- In Plaintext: The technical “geeking out” — Everything ADB, Shizuku, Linux and Android tweaks and toolsk, and my takes on tech news & updates.
Where this category comes in
Instead of building a separate comment section and splitting the conversation, I’m using the Discourse embed feature to keep the discussion right here on the forum.
How it works:
- Whenever a new article goes live on the blog, a corresponding topic will be automatically created in this category.
- This category is the blog’s comment section. Any reply you post to a topic here will automatically sync and show up as a comment at the bottom of the article on my site.
A quick heads-up
Since these threads are literally the comment section for the blog, please keep your replies relevant to the specific article. If a post sparks a separate idea or a general JTech question that isn’t a direct “comment” on the piece, just start a new topic in the regular sections so we don’t clutter the article feed.
