Block Factory Reset on TCL Flip 2

I enabled USB Debugging on my TCL Flip 2 T408DL (Yup, luckily it never updated to the new software so I was able to).

Now, how can I disable factory resets to prevent it from going back to unfiltered?

What did you use to filter it?

ADB - I just uninstalled the browser and disabled the OTA software packages.

Uninstalled or disabled?

Uninstalled the browser and disabled the OTA packages

If the browser is removed through root, resetting won’t bring it back

I think you need to be rooted and then you can uninstall the browser for good.

I dont want to root it, I just want to do this quickly. Rooting is annoying

Also, uninstall/disable the email app as well. It has an IAB and it opens a browser when clicking a link.

Any guides to rooting TCL Flip 2?

You sure you uninstalled it. IIRC you could only disable not uninstall. If you disabled it it isn’t safe cause with a few clicks you can re-enable it in the settings.
