Every day or two my cat would randomly start rebooting. I have eGate on it but I don’t think it has to do with that. Is there any way to check the logs why it rebooted? If yes, what ADB command can I use?
the issue is that its the CAT phone worse than KIOS
Now that’s a first but everyone is entitled to have an opinion.
possibly a loose battery
Would that come up in logs that it restarted dur to the battery falling out?
not sure, though you could wedge a folded scrap of paper between the battery and the phone opposite from where the metal part touches the phone and see if that helps (I did this with my tcl flip 2 and it worked)
I have that same piece of paper in my Kyocera. Lol
Since I flashed @NotABird’s custom ROM I never had the issue again, so apparently it wasn’t an issue with the battery.
So happy to discover this forum. Dealing with the same issue. Is @NotABird custom ROM the one that is called “kitty” around here? Or is it something else? Where can I read more about it?
I’m looking for a debloated custom ROM with full android auto support, and kosher a plus
What’s @anon97982153 ?
He has a kosher ROM for the Cat s22 flip. Epic one!
I have some experience but I am busy tonight I can try to help you tomorrow.
The kitty rom did not have the issue of restarting randomly.
