I based the features and UI on Message+ (whatever I remember it having) and it was created almost entirely by Fable 5.

Featues:
Press any message to act on what’s inside it: phone numbers (call / copy / message), links (open / copy), email addresses (send email / copy), street addresses (open in maps / copy)
Long press any message for the full menu: forward, copy, lock, select many, save attachment, details
Hold up/down to fly through a thread and a floating date bubble shows where you are
Softkey setup: press left, press right, save, and on screen D-pad buttons as a fallback when a phone’s softkeys don’t cooperate
Each conversation can have its own tone, vibrate on/off, vibrate only, or silent
Three levels of quiet: muted, notifications blocked, or the whole conversation hidden
Choose per group: one group conversation (Group MMS) or individual replies (broadcast)
Built in photo/video viewer, anything the phone’s codecs can’t handle hands off to the system player
Built in updater
Messages backup and restore. Uses a /downloads/ path for phones without a file manager
Re-import tool that rebuilds everything from the phone’s message store
Resize the entire app from 70% to 150%, plus advanced per element sizes
Customize chat background
Scheduled messaging, with d-pad friendly time picker
The right softkey doesn’t work (it only wants my left input) so can’t send messages… Doesn’t happen on all phones though, maybe you should make that you can get to those buttons with the D-Pad
Group messaging is not on by default
The clock/date format should use system settings
Messages with “subjects” come up as blank messages
Icons for locked messages and muted conversations would also be nice
Sync with the other messaging apps on the phone nvm you already put it in
But seriously, you added stuff to this app that I didn’t even know I needed
I figured out its not just messages with subjects, its picture messages that were sent to you (and its not fixed)
Ok so it seems the blank messages (which are pictures) go into a different conversation when imported, and it also turns it into a group message chat (it really was just a private messaging chat) that’s why I got confused when I saw the group messaging chats weird and thought they didn’t transfer properly. Now I see group chats might have actually transferred properly
Scrolling, through chats, when you reach the bottom of a page, it goes to next page, but shows it chaim from top, instead of scrolling continuing from the bottom.
Added option to show one notification for all messages (set by default)
Added unread line and unread count in a thread
Added advanced options for keyword message blocking (block all, block non-contacts, block for specific number, allow for specific number, case sensitive on/off)
