Is there a way to not allow it to access all files in home directory? It seems officially its all or nothing but i’d love to use this if it doesn’t require giving windows virus apps access to all my linux files while still being able to share files through.
Sorry remind me what we are talking about ![]()
More context
Winboat runs with docker on linux to natively support windows apps.
I mean, you don’t need to use winboat, if you want you can set up everything they offer with your own customization.
Or even just use qemu with remimma.
That sounds like some hard work but maybe its worth it
Get qemu, virt manager, and remimma.
Simple once you get the hang of it and you don’t need to learn docker (though you should, it’s amazing).
I’m confused with the names. I have kvm with virt manager running a full windows vm. Is that what you mean? That 1 is extremely extremely slow. Probably should’ve used windows 10 instead of 11
Yeah that’s what I meant. I use 10 LTSC 2021 for my windows vms.
What’s your config?
Wdym config? Ram? I don’t have access to my computer now but i believe i gave it 8 gb ram double what i gave ubuntu and kali that run fast no problems.
When you have access, check the xml config
And give me specs of host
@Dev-in-the-BM_2.0 I still need a free way to expose localhost:8000 to a static URL without limits
Cloudflare tunnels
As free as you’ll get
Oh wait, you didn’t have a domain. Eh
Great, now we can make a remote whitelist for the popcorn kernels with json on GitHub.
@Lamden613 Whats your experience with this?
Never used
I’ve already tried this
It doesn’t work, it’s root for reading not writing
That is, you can edit the partitions but if you restart all the edits will be deleted
I wasn’t following any updates about this Google gezera. Any more details out such as when, and how it will work etc?
Not answering your question right now, but I just want to clarify that my repo in general is host for in app updates, side from this whole Google thing.
Yes I’ll probably use it next time I make an app. Was just trying to understand how it would bypass the Google thing.
Shizuku, dhizuku, root.
