Could this not be solved by a script that launches egate after a set account of time continuously?
If that requires root then it’s not so practical.
Even just a rooted boot image with no user access to root functions?

Yes, Qin ROMS are super frustrating. There are so many different ones, with so many weird bugs, and everyone expects me to automatically support everything.

Does anyone have a Qin ROM with version 2.1.1? Right now someone is hounding me to fix a supposed vulnerability with eGate on that build number, and I haven’t been able to find such a ROM to download.
I have 2.1.6, don’t know if that helps.

This specific part is interesting. Maybe egate can be added to the exemption somehow.
The problem I’m running into is that somehow some Qin ROMs have a Google Play version that somehow uses something other than WebView for WebView.
I mean, we can try flashing a newer updated gapps package.
