You can use autobooter on mint, but you might run into some issues.
I’ve already preconfigured that iso with all dependencies.
If you have a mint desktop you can burn with mint-usb
Sorry, I’m unsure what that iso is supposed to be for? its it for trying it with linux or trying it on windows 11 again.
I made this ISO. It is Linux. Mxlinux to be exact.
It has mtkclient and autobooter already configured with shortcuts on the desktop.
No need to install an OS, it’s a live USB. Boot and works right away. No driver fuss
If you want, ask me tomorrow and I’ll show you how to get autobooter working on your mint desktop. I’d just use the iso though, much easier.
You can also use qemu to boot this ISO as a VM and passthrough your phone. Much simpler than it sounds.
Okay, I get it now. You want me Boot into it live from a usb. Ok I can try that out right now. Any specific settings i need to make sure i check off on rufus?

After you press start, when it asks iso or dd mode, choose iso.

When you boot up, make sure your phone is completely off. Shouldn’t be a need to take out the battery.
Open autobooter (orange icon with arrows I believe) and plug in the phone when it’s completely off.
You’re definitely asleep now, but I was able to get into fastboot. Not what to do from there though. terminal auto closed after => FASTBOOT MODE message appeared on the phone.

Open a new terminal in platform tools and do whatever you were planning on doing.

I was just trying to see if you can skip the adbio step. What happens if you dial *#*#DEBUG#*#*?
It erases the call text thing.
I an not sure what your referring to. Do you get a popup saying USB Debugging turned on?

It does not pop up after dialing. It just erases the debugger text.
