I was asked today if there are any filtering options for a Tesla.

Any info would be appreciated.

That might be exaggerated. Might is a strong word.

Most definitely on the context of hacking a Tesla.

Way back when, TAG ran ads offering 10k, at some point 30k… Don’t think anything ever came of it.

All their software is proprietary, and any trick you might use could likely be easily patched via a software update.

Honestly the best bet would probably be a tweet to Elon exactly as the stars align. Some talk about this

Hacking into the software of the world’s most popular self-driving car is 100% illegal. TAGs offer is a joke. There’s no source code for it, or even there it is - there’s no way of modifying Tesla software, because if someone will modify it, he can do a very easy cyber terror attack that will risk the lives of millions of people.

What’s the issue with the Tesla tablet? Used one once but I don’t remember. Full Internet access?

Nice. Very expensive though.

They just take ownership of the car and set up a software that activates valet mode when you park - kinda like from the Tesla app.

So yes… No hacking or installation here.
