Did you ask them to enable cdmaless mode?
If I asked who? And what does it mean?
did you call your service and have them enable CDMA less on your line ?
@admins please move correct thread
I will ask them to do it.
By the way what is it?
CDMA was Verizon’s 2G & 3G networks, they shut it down in January 2023
So this option was used when you didn’t want your phone to try to find CDMA (I think)
Some people say this helps that phones should work well on verizon
What color is around the charging port
blue
If there any difference between version 1 and version 2 regarding the bands?
Also, is it always md1img_a and md1rom_a that’s active and not slot b?
I’m working on something…
No.
Not sure what the question is. Where’d you find a slot b?
In 6.1.3 the md1img and md1rom are named md1img_a.bin and md1rom_a.img. that’s why I thought so. I might be totally wrong. If you can let me know by doing su -c 'ls /dev/block/by-name/' that would be amazing
It’s not only 613 I just checked a few different ROMS, 111, a Israeli ROM, F30 bands, and more. They’re all named _a (except for the stock ROM).
So there’s a and no b or whatever b can be ignored. That’s amazing thanks
Actually in the output I did get a slot _b so
.
But I think you can ignore it.
Run
fastboot getvar current-slot
If the output is a than you can ignore _b. Either way, when you flash, don’t flash to _a or _b, just flash across the board. E.g. just flash to md1img instead of md1img_a or md1img_b.
Not flashing anything it was just to test for @flipphoneguy 's new changing bands app.
Anyone in Lakewood that can flash just bands please pm me at 8482877235 text/whatsapp
