I’m looking for honest feedback on a website for my kosher TIQ phone. I initially hired a low-cost overseas designer, but the first version felt very template-based, and I wanted a more custom, professional look. I then hired a second low-cost designer to upgrade/redesign it.
The new version is not a live website yet, just a design mockup. Only the desktop version is available to view.
While the new version is different, I’m not sure it’s actually better, and it still doesn’t feel fully professional.
I’d appreciate feedback on whether the redesign is an improvement and what specifically feels off or missing (design, layout, branding, trust, UX).
To me it basically looks like a light/dark mode of the same website. (and you know which I prefer…)
They both look okay. Not terrible, but nothing screaming, fully custom- but then again how would it, if you want to be low-cost?
First of all, the new website is, imo, much better. There’s a much cleaner minimalistic design language comapred to the old websites, you have random stock images all over the place and random colors. Yes I know I’m biased lol
But as to why its still lacking, I would say its the wording. The way the beginning of every word is capitalized makes it look unprofessional. For example, look at apple’s website:
In my opinion I disagree with you I don’t think people understand how important packaging and a website is for a product It’s not necessarily when they receive the product and how it works but of course that’s a factor as well but It’s the process of buying that really counts if they are going to tell more friends about the product It’s going to be solely dependent on how they emotionally feel about the product which comes about through premium packaging and having a premium website
Between the lines of "a basic phone with apps you want” and “A phone designed to maximize productivity and minimize distraction “ and “ultimate kosher phone” and “kosher TIQ phone”
Which ones do you think should be highlighted the most?
And in regards to the other quotes which one should go on top and which one should go on bottom?
Do you think the way it is now or the quote “a basic phone with the apps you want” should be bigger than the other ones?
