Want to try doing this. Can (or what chance will) this break the phone if I follow correctly?
Does anyone know how to undo it? And will this affect roaming in other countries?
I’ve done it for quite a few phones and never had a problem with it breaking the phone. As far as I know you should be able to go back into the PDC.exe program and remove cdma-less although I’ve never done that. Don’t know if this affects roaming in other countries but I kinda doubt that it will. For some 3rd Verizon MVNO’s it won’t work unless you change the IMEI to a certified Verizon IMEI.

Can you tell me the process on how to undo it? Does it work with T-Mobile afterwards?
i didnt change it to tmobile ,i went to atat and works fine,you basiccialy just reverse everything ,i wasnt sure which thing to pick on pdc so i think gave them to a ai and told me to pick one but then anyways when put sim card in and activated it went to a different one so i could be you dont have to do anything

Does anybody know if I would be able to do this using efstools instead of PDC? I can’t run PDC on my Mac (I tried a vm).
Just did it (using a regular PC). Amazing how easy it is to do. I literally didn’t think it was possible to get my CAT to work on Verizon until a saw this thread. Thanks for posting it, and kudos to whichever guy put in the work manually figuring this out! Only thing that doesn’t seem to work is RCS, but, meh.
