- With the phone off, press the power button + asterisk + upper left button
Keep pressing until it turns on and off about twice then release the power button and keep pressing the asterisk + top left button
Press short presses on the power button + up navigation until you reach the boot menu
Then go down to the WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET option
Then press the power button + navigate up until you reach this screen
Then select WIPE DATA/FACTORY RESET
Then press the power button + navigation up (/down is also good)
Then return to the main menu
and press
And the phone turns on and you have a formatted phone
