IAB In Stock Mail App Of TCL Flip 2

Hi i rooted and flashed neutrons img on my tcl flip 2 and then uninstalled the browser using adb. everything seemed fine but i just realized that the stock email app opens all links and has a regular iab. Does anyone know adb prompts to uninstall it or any way to otherwise block the app from opening external links (such as using lucky patcher). interesting that this issue has never been reported on.

@FliphoneBochur

seen it somewhere

the whole app? Same way you did to browser

what is the package name. i also want to know if there is another way without getting rid of the app and having to use aqua mail

Send me the apk. Not that I know how to remove the IAB but if it installs on other phones it could be very useful for me

I dont have the apk unless you can tell me how to extract it from my stock rom

ES File Explorer is the easiest way. adb can also do it but you will have to find exact command

Com.Android.email

on the tcl we usualy delete with root instead of disable to persist factory reset but thats up to you

mdm or maybe you could delete webview unless email relies on it

Not sure if deleting webview is an option. Some phones will crash if you delete it.

do i do the standard adb uninstall command or do i use the same su command just like for the browser

Do you want to temporarily delete email or permanently.

I guess permanently if there is no other way

So then do the su commands like for the browser.

That’s unfortunate…

If the phone has a browser app installed (or an app that says it’s a browser), the app will redirect to that instead of the app’s IAB. That’s @Darth`'s mehalech for blocking it in his ROMs. Here’s the app that I install.
