Some small mistake I saw you made though, you wrote no apps, @ars18 said he’s able to install apps, and the phone can work in Europe too[1]

At 9:36, you said the Lively/Jitterbug Flip 3 is based on the IRIS Easy Flip 2, not really correct since the new Lively 5G flip phone is a TCL Flip 4 5G, made by TCL. The IRIS was made by a phone manufacturer in hong kong, which is also known for making a few other flip phones. Does the buttons and android style look similar tho? Yea

I wanna know some small stuff about the new lively flip phone, so let me know when you get it and maybe you can answer it (if you want), stuff you likely wouldn’t say in the video

Credit to @somebody for the real work, the absolutely nutty exploit for gaining temp root and @me for the persistent magisk root once I had an in.

Not currently public info, but I just thought I’d share. Is it just a tease? Yes. I’m sorry :pensive_face:

@somebody was saying it would be pretty funny if we found out the bootloader could be unlocked after carrier unlock :joy: I doubt it though.

It’s really a great phone, build quality wise. Software, a little meh. It is meant for seniors though. Needs some tweaks.

If I remember correctly, hotspot is not in the ui, but can be launched via adb (and root).

The other stuff I really haven’t tested yet, I think I made one phone call on this thing to see if it works.

I think mine should be unlock eligible by now I’ll have to check.

I’ve never actually had a phone that visual voicemail worked with verizon. Have you?
