I made a simple picture showing which u.s phones have enough of Israel’s 4G/5G bands to work and which don’t. Israeli carriers are known to cause problems even if it has the right bands. I purposely didn’t include every u.s phone
Anyone can confirm if Israel actually shutdown their 2G & 3G yet?
It’s not shut down at once. they’re phasing it out slowly. By me it still works.
TCL flip 2 works great here. Me, my brother and a few friends use it here no problem. While the Sonim’s should work here, I got 2 Sonims flagged when using Hot Mobile…
.
Explain
Officially the misrad hatakshoret flagged them as 3g which slowly phones that don’t support 4g are being blocked.
It might’ve been Hot Mobile automatic syatem making mistakes and they’re blaiming it on the government but eitherway that’s my experience with it..
Will the Eko F30 still work?
They are 4G so yes
EDIT: I looked into it: @sb123 is right. They do not have Israeli 4G bands
Does it have that of the Israeli 4g bands
I’ve heard from some people that the eko f30 gets 3g in Israel..
Even the 5G one?
I guess we’ll just have to switch up the IMEI
No, he is using non-5G Sonim phones
So, what’s the psak
I think the f30 is 3g but contact @A.I.V i think he flashes f21 to make them 4g in israel
Looks like it will not work in the future in Israel. I can’t be sure, the only way to find out for certain is to take the phone to Israel and see if it has 3G or 4G
the qin f21 will work with the israeli bands ??
Looks like it is capable even if it is not built in
There’s a thread on mitmachim to add volte to the f21 if you are rooted
Can you post the link here?
Can someone make that guide here in english?
