how about adding a on screen call button when dialing on screen (that fits the m5 screen)
also the calls from each caller should all show up in recent calls together, and pressing on it will show history.

When you press the contact or when you dial the full number and press the call button it calls right away

i know, its just that people using on screen to dial might also want a on screen call button
another bug i saw on the m5, that during a call when using physical buttons for the first time it works (to choose a menue etc.), after that it goes to the new call screen and pressing the physical buton dosen’t do anything anymore.

I just tested it with the Lawnchair app and it doesn’t hang up the ongoing call.
update, i tested this above bug again. it only happens when pressing the physical # key during a call it goes to the new call screen, instead of the menu during a call for hotlines etc. all other keys work, and the onscreen # button also works.
I just tested the # key I don’t see it having any issues at all.
Which software build of the M5 are you using?
Maybe an indicator if your using Wi-Fi calling

Update your phone to the latest version.
It’s probably happening due to the # key changes between Silent and vibrate and ring

PureTech Phone hits 1.0.0 — a proper dialer for the M5 & Qin F21
Hey everyone,
After a lot of late nights (and way too many test calls to myself 
), I’m happy to finally call this one stable: PureTech Phone 1.0.0 is out.
If you’ve got a TiQ Mini M5 or a Qin F21, you know the stock dialer leaves a lot to be desired. So I built one that actually feels like a modern phone app — but still works the way a keypad phone should.
What it’s about:
It’s gone through a full redesign and now uses Material You, so it picks up your phone’s theme colors and looks clean in both light and dark mode. Everything’s laid out in nice rounded cards now — the call log, settings, history, all of it.
A few things I’m pretty happy with:
- Conference calls actually show up as a conference, and you can drop one person without ending the whole call.
- Voice search — just tap the mic and say a name.
- Calls over Wi-Fi get a little Wi-Fi marker so you can tell.
- Declined calls finally say “Declined” instead of pretending they were missed (but they still show up under Missed if you want them there).
- If a call can’t connect, it tells you “Server unreachable” instead of just dropping silently.
- You can block unknown/withheld callers straight from settings.
- Volume keys adjust call volume, your most-called people pop up the second you open the dialer, swipe-to-answer, call recording… the usual stuff you actually use.
It’s free, no ads, no nonsense.

Already running an older build? Just install the new APK over it — it updates in place, no need to uninstall. After that, the app checks for updates on its own once a day.
