Anyone else find the app to take time to receive messages (maybe this is only when the app is closed, I am not sure).
Also MMS can sometimes take a while to send.

I don’t remember it ever being any faster, also it depends if you still have high speed data then it will take faster

Can someone confirm that clearing messages data will not delete all my messages. I know it doesn’t on the qin but I want to make sure the exalt works the same.
That seems to require root I am not rooted.
Don’t think clearing data will effect your messages but i do remember hearing installing the smartphone version and deleting some messages from there helps with space which might speed it up
Why do you need to install the smartphone version?
How can I install it? By adding cts to a smartphone version or by installing it on top of the current one which I don’t think is possible cause it’s a system app.
Not system i thing its a different package name but yes needs to be modified
This command adb shell pm clear com.verizon.messaging.vzmsgs cleared something. Either cache data or both.
I am not sure if it will help my issue though.
The smartphone version installs even if you haven’t turned off “Unknown sources” and no modifying needed on the exalt. But I think the latest version doesn’t work to install on exalt, a version from 2021 will work
