Updated and improved based on QKSMS, Optimized for TCL.

This version has the com.android.mms signature so if you remove systems sms (FPMessaging), this will work with TCL message button and icon

The linked folder (for above too) may be occasionally updated with latest updated version

Its a lot better then it was before, tested with the Sonim XP3plus 5G & Schok Flip SC3218T

Some big issues I have, the physical side buttons don’t work on every phone, which makes it unusable. And on the Sonim XP5s, the app just crashes after having it open for like 4 seconds

And while there is a mute conversation option, its a little complicated to get to, so if its possible just make a simple “mute” button when you select options

Still right now, its a great option for phones without touch screens

I’m adding mute conversation, which will be added to above link, I’m not sure whats the issue with “the physical side buttons don’t work on every phone”

drop me an email and I will give you the command to capture the crash log. and maybe we can solve other issues too.
