I’m looking to compile a list of phones that come with a MDM pre-installed by the oem, and what their capabilities are.
This information is relevant when someone is filtering these devices themselves, and thats what I made this thread for, so please, no posts about:
- Phones that come already fully kosher
- Custom roms
- MDMs that Tag can install (like Livigent on the LG classic)
I want this thread to be clear and clean, so please:
- Only post information.
Questions should be posted elsewhere.
- Only one post per phone model, & therefore,
- Please make your posts wiki if you can.
- Moderators, if you see a post that isn’t wiki, please make it wiki.
Post information about:
- What a specific phone’s MDM can do
- What it can’t do
- If it can do anything that eGate can’t (for example, block resetting via recovery)
- If there are loopholes that eGate can block that it can’t (for example, developer options)

I know some Kyocera phones have preinstalled MDMs that can block app installation and factory reset
Kyocera DuraXV Extreme E4810 comes with Device Control MDM.
Device Control Features:
- Hide/Disable apps that are on the phone
- Block app install from unknown source (I think this applies to all APKs)
It also includes some random features like either Block Bluetooth or Block WiFi - I don’t remember exactly
I don’t believe it blocks Developer Options
You can also put a code on Factory Resets by going to Security and then Edit Code (Not the device password, this is a seperate option)

not really sure what it can do besides annoy me
it also comes with sonim safeguard which could block reset but does not block from recovery

some of these phones are with kosher roms if you specifically wanted mdm let me know and ill delete this post iyh
