and i cant figure out how to boot to recovery its not the original button combination
Autobooter to fastboot then fastboot -w
Or format userdata in mtkclient
It also just may not be compatible
autoboot works when its stuck on the boot animation
Keep holding power and back, for good measure the owl (because you said key combos are different) when it’s plugged in
ive tried that with mtkclient and it doesnt work it just boot up like normal
There’s gotta be a way to make it work…

Just keep it the way it is with your system is what I’d do, factory reset and see if it boots. If not…
interseting that even when it was stuck on the boot animation adb wasnt working evne i had it on before i flashed the system and usually by that point in the boot process adb start up
okay just in case i flashed the stock boot not the magisk one and i flashed an unencrypted userdata in case that was causeing the issue when i flashed a new system image. that happened to me once though it wasnt the same symptoms
Look. STOCK whatever they gave you. Everything. Try JUST replacing system, factory reset, and see what happens.
okay doing that now - factory reset in recovery or in fastboot
okay i flashed all stock (except empty vbmeta so it will boot) and then flashed system_a and factory reset with recovery
