Qin F25 USA?

Can you check what Verizon is connecting to? That’s very interesting

LTE. Usually calls cut if after about a minute and a half

I can try to help you.

DU you need any files? Should I call you?

call me

No I meant the band

Where do I find that

Engineer mode

Full of settings. I don’t see anywhere to see current info.

I just sent you a screen record of the app

I believe someone in the qin v3 post said that the reason they made it so you cant use us bands anymore on the f21 is because of theyre contract with eko, and that they made a contract with the f25 as well… So if you can get to work on the f25 you can probably get it to work on the f21, and if you can’t on the f21…

Unless I’m completely wrong

Found the post

I think I saw that too but look at the convo I had with Claude. Again I don’t know these stuff but Claude doesn’t seem off unless I’m missing something

If someone that tried that qin see this conversation and had insight that would be great

Just because they tried to block it doesn’t mean it’s impossible…

Too lazy lol
But good luck
Would be massive breakthrough as well as for the f21 hopefully

At least we can hope so I spoke to a seller that seems to be close to the top, she was pretty confident that it’s impossible, but you never know

Sweet dreams. Ain’t gonna happen on my own till a very long time if ever. Now chol hamoed I have time but then I’m going back to Israel and won’t be able to test anything there and I also don’t know these stuff at all so… Basically I’m putting this out there and hoping others will do the hard work

I thought someone is paying a developer to do it any news where he’s holding?

Okay so I just finished burning another few hours with Claude pro in my terminal doing crazy stuff (totally crazy I told it to use root and while I was monitoring every command it was crazy!) turns out @ars18 is right that it’s not sbp at all. It’s the md1img purposefully compiled without USA bands.

BUT…

It seems like other then the qin f21 new version which (at least I was told) there’s no decide to compare, the f25 seems to yes have. First of all strings on the image reveal a lot of awareness about USA bands including specific info for specific carriers etc. And secondly without researching too much it seems like there are a few devices that work in the USA with the same chipset and modem. If that’s the case it means we can have fun trying to flash from other devices till a success… Or maybe since it won’t be similar phones it won’t work but maybe it can be done manually with ghidra but that would take real skill. (Claude claims it’s doable since it’s just basically some list in hex because as we saw most of it is the stock firmware for this chipset and we just have to change the list of bands)

If this works I think this phone will become a real popular phone here. It’s already extremely picked up in Israel and will become here too if this succeeds.

@ars18 @Nooch and anyone else with knowledge in these stuff (not me) can you please tell me if what I’m saying makes any sense or if I’m totally not getting something?

And btw @william where’d you get your info about that inner Politics? Cuz according to that the picture I have makes sense

Also do you have any clue how exactly they plan to pull off a kosher version of the f25 without risking the same thing? Unless they use different chipset which will make it a total different phone

I tried the same on the F22 and did not get very far even though Claude said it was possible
