Are you sure that intent firewall does not apply to AA? It blocks activities but is it not an app activity when it opens in Android Auto?

su -c pm disable will still show in settings. But su -c pm hide will hide it even in settings.

Maps ifw xml with everything blocked
App still shows up, not launchable though. I assume we can filter through this and just block the launcher activity, and leave everything else untouched.
Has anyone verified that the fig doesn’t show maps on app info? Maybe they just don’t show it on the launcher and use ifw.
