You don’t need to. I recommend it.
You can also boot up into 6.1.3 and use my modem utilities in ksuwebui to back up. No need for mtkclient.

If I want your latest ROM without root, do I only need to copy the BOOT file to the partition folder?
There are several files in the BOOT folder.
Just take the boot from the speaker fix zip. It’s not rooted.
Speaker fix is the name because it has all files required to make the new qin work on any ROM.

I’m using autoboot and I’m not pressing any key, just make sure the phone is completely off.

Have anyone tried using the You Mail app on this ROM? I can’t sign in and getting a message that says: Unexpected error.
I tried already uninstalling, and flashing again the whole rom but it doesn’t help.
Try adding to magisk denylist. Also add in tricky add on.
Clear data and try logging in again.

You can use whatever IMEI you want.
If you are talking about not having to call for cdmaless, I’m not sure. Maybe someone who tried it could confirm yes it no.

No matter the IMEI you’ll have to call In for CDMA-LESS.

Not every IMEI will work with Verizon,
I spoke to US Mobile and they said I would have to use T-Mobile’s network.
Just because someone works at a company doesn’t mean they know what they’re talking about.
In fact you can use any IMEI and it will work on Verizon including 1234567890000000..
