I don’t know what you will get
How can I know if it’s the new one or the old one
Take a backup of the boot and flash old boot. If it works you have an old one.
Or you can turn on the phone and run
ls /vendor/firmware
If there are 30 files there you have a new one, 27 and you have an old one.
Unless they just flash the new ROM to all, who knows?
Still doesn’t make sense to me that this happened.
Just had another confirmation that the new boot, dtbo, and super work on the old…
Working now?
I’m using your updated ROM for the OLD on a old phone and it works great
Nice. All working as expected? Verizon MMS playing nice? All apps in “more settings” launching?
By me it didn’t launch KsU web UI, so I installed it manually and it worked. Same with magisk
But maybe because I didn’t flash user data partition
You didn’t factory reset? That would explain it.
That would mean you missed the new first boot script
The previous version I did the whole process with the bat file and than it made the speaker problems
So I’m missing something?
Where should I run the ls command adb or cli on the phone?
I can try to flash the old one and if don’t boot I should flash the new one??
Just the new apk’s for magisk, fng and ksuwebui with no launcher icon. And updated magisk to 30.2
Not important, only if it annoys you
It’s fine
Doesn’t matter
I have an old one (thank you @ys770
) ran the batch file for the old, and all good with the speaker.
And flashing first the old one and then if it’s don’t boot flashing the new one, will it work?
I’m not a prophet but it’s either one or the other. I’ve had a weird experience with one phone though.
Never mind what I said about checking firmware…
@Aron just got a phone that came with 33.2.1 (has firmware for new speaker), but was confirmed to be an old one.
They are just flashing whatever super they want…
Much better voice notes are working, however picture quality for incoming mms is still shrinked.
