Samsung Galaxy Folder 2

just making sure the sonim works in isreal?

and how much do they charge?

Yes, depends on carrier though. If your roaming it will work for sure

Depends on the phone & carrier, probably not more then $30. You can check before checking out/putting your credit/debit card info in

im talking about using a isreal sim

It has the bands so it can work, IF, it doesn’t work, its the carriers problem, not the phone

any other legit unlocking websites?

is this site legit?

Direct unlocks is a known scam, don’t give them anything

No I don’t think so

Hi everyone, I wanted to say that I myself am getting a Samsung Galaxy Folder G1600, the original one and not the 2, I spent literally hours researching and figuring out things, so just to save everyone the time and frustration.

I’m just going to explain a little bit what I know. From עניות דעתי. The thing is like this: 2G doesn’t work anymore in Israel. And in other places in the world as well. It works only 3G and 4G. Now, till now I had a LG Classic Flip, and it says 4G LTE,. I’m like, yes, that’s amazing! Let’s go! And I’m trying to spend hours to try to make it work because it says it has 4G and I all my effort goes to waste I went through programing it debugging, developer options B’kitzur no hope.

I was about to buy another one because I thought mine maybe had a problem or maybe was forged, but then I figured out that mine does have 4G. Until B"H I realized my mistake.

What you need to take to consideration is not just 4G. You need to know as well what type of a band it is. What is a Band?

You can think of frequency bands like highways that carry voice and data signals to and from devices. Different cell phone carriers have their own lanes, giving them their own space on the spectrum. When you make a call or use the internet on your phone, your device sends and receives information using those designated lanes.

Besides Take for example Volts for an outlet in America its 110v and in Israel its 220v so you can have a company like Samsung that makes refrigerators and you would want to order one, you would understand that you can’t order it from the UK, because even though it’s the same company and model but they use different voltage!!

So to are bands, each country in the world uses different bands, therefore it depends on where the phone was made. Let’s say it was made in China, they put on it, let’s say, Band 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8, 66, so on and so forth, and if its origin country made is Korean, then it would have different bands.

Therefore, speaking about what we said in the beginning about the Samsung Galaxy Folder 2 does it work in Israel or America you would have to check what band it is.

In Israel I know the bands that work are Band 1 with only specific companies as Band 3 and 7 work with all!!

Now, could anybody help me with mine before it comes, I want to kasher it, but beforehand I want to be able to put on it a kosher SIM. So where can I just get all the information, how to modify my phone completely instead of needing to research this whole thing. Like, can somebody post, let’s say a file or something that has all the information, how to change the IMEI so I could use it with a kosher SIM, how to download all the apps, how to kasher it afterwards by deleting the browser and putting on it your own personal filter to block what you don’t want access to so on and so forth…

Looking to hear from someone soon.

Thank You!!

Samsung LG Classic?? Either its a LG Classic or a Samsung Classic. Unless you have Samsung Apple iPhones in your world…

I’m assuming you have a European LG Classic Flip, cause the one from here in the united states doesn’t work in Israel (anymore). Maybe its not a LG phone what you have

Remove all the apps you don’t want with adb. It runs a very old android version (5.1) so not really possible to get modern apps working on it anymore anyway

I’m pretty sure volts don’t matter when it comes to phones

The original Samsung Galaxy Folder is not VoLTE. Phone calls and text messages rely on 2G or 3G to work

Thanks fixed

YES Volts don’t matter by phones just taking it as a known example

Could be your right but it will still work as far as I know for all you need for calls is really 3G might work a bit slower and less reception.

No LG classic flips work in Israel anymore because the only network that had Bands 1,3 or 7 was the 2G and now they shut it off.

Since you got in to this topic I’ll add as you can see from the LG classic flip that it can have Bands 1,3 or 7 for the 2G network and not the 4G so when you buy a phone make sure it says that the 4G SPECIFICALLY has Bands 1,3 or 7 !!!
