Does anyone know how to make a group chat in America that is SMS?

Is there a difference between the 2 of them?

In Israel, group SMS isn’t a thing—replies just go back to the sender privately.

The only way to get a group chat in a regular text app here is via RCS, but only if everyone in the group is using Google Messages (and has it turned on).

GroupMe is deprecating SMS

Last I tried (a long time ago) GroupMe wouldn’t add non American phone numbers. Anyway, GroupMe is kind of history by now, especially for new users
