Another option is a root installer app, but I dunno how practical that is, most won’t have root.

I think so. Not sure.

I only needed to hack every installer to get the APK out.

Geder installer costs money to download so yes.

Python exe - not hard to extract
.NET exe - harder, not terrible
C++ exe - terrible
C++ ISO - mamesh terrible

But I managed.
