In case any of you were getting bored of all the garbage 5G phones coming out, we have another one coming out.
The SpeakEsy Flip is a 5G phone that was just released, and is locked to SpeakEasy, which is a sub-brand of Consumer Cellular.
It’s described as “Strong, simple, built to last.”, but I’m a bit skeptical about that.
SpeakEasy gives us very little info about the phone.
OS, processor, and RAM, aren’t mentioned, so we’ll have to wait for @Air_Condition150 to dig up some details from FCC records.
It doesn’t look like it’s running KaiOs, so I’d assume that it’s running Android.
It’s physical controls are a bit weird, but could be that could be fixed with a button mapper or a custom ROM.
