Why are the partitions different than a list from adb? @Tripleu?
The ones that are empty are cancelled out.
I got 3 lying around in a drawer somewhere, I’ll check if any of them are keka. If yes, it’s yours.
Chances are not though. Got them quite a while ago.

is this blocked on phones that are locked or wheir made by a service carrier and then unlocked?
You need special tools, won’t work to do it with mtk client

So this thread is a bit confusing and also it seems all the rom links are down. (or at least I can’t access the google drive links.)
From what I understand what TripleU accomplished is they made a full dump. Then it seems thye got rid of simlock? If so that’s really big news I would think.
@ys770 You said this didn’t work with mtk client. Which if I recall is the tool to get into fastboot that all the tcl flips that I’ve used are flashed. If I may ask, do you need some sort of hardware tool to then flash the rom/get into preloader, so then you can flash the rom?
I have a few tcl classics that I bought that I rooted.

Welcome to jtech
The tool used to boot into fastboot is called aurobooter and doesn’t use mtk client. Never tested the sim lock.
