No but you need to activate in a different phone in order for Verizon to work
Are you sure?
I’m pretty sure there were many times where Verizon was already a registered SIM card and needed to turn on CDMA less in order it for it to work on the phone
As of my experience you don’t need it
But a friend told me that he needed CDMA less
So I guess it’s hit or miss

So it has nothing to do with something baked into the rom like it looks like in @farrict’s post?
It’s simply a registered device that is cdmaless so us mobile puts it on by default just like some pixels?

I have a custom rom for the M5, I needed to make some edits to the system apps so I unpacked the super using crb kitchen. I made the edits and repacked everything using Sparse Image. I originally tried making edits to an app in the priv-app folder but figured out that can cause some problems so I reverted back to the original app there.When I try flashing the Super via fastbootd it flashes successfully and partially boots then goes into recovery and says the system is corrupt. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong? I can flash the old super and it boots totally fine. The only thing I am doing is replacing one apk in system_a\system\system\app.
Edit: I finally went to an older super and modded it to what I need it works, so something must’ve been wrong with the newer super.

I have t mobile us mobile on my tiq. It’s been working great for the last few weeks. Today out of random I can’t send sms or mms. I can receive calls sms mms and call others. Data works as well. Any ideas?
I tried restarting a few times but it didn’t help.
After switching the APN and then restarting it started working again!!!

And boom it randomly stopped working again!
I switched back the APN to default and then back to the one us mobile provided and it started working.
Pretty annoying. Could this be cause of the IMEI?
Would it help if I switch the IMEI to a cat phone imei which is t mobile?

Yes they said that everything looks good on there side.
What’s the process to change the imei on the tiq?

I flashed newest firmware.
Unlocked bl, flashed disabled vbmeta.
dm-verity corruption, no matter how I flash.

You’re supposed to use firmware upgrade in sp flash tool.
And about the bootloader I kept it locked and it updated.
Look at the word sheet in the zip folder of the update.
