Is there any way to unlock a TCL Flip 3 to work with T-Mobile?
Background, it was bought on eBay and is locked to verizon
There are mobile unlocking websites that are for these exact scenarios. doctorsim.com is the least sketchy one I could find. Basically they work through back channel communications with carriers (i.e. not a software exploit) to unlock phones when you can’t do it normally. They have the most success at unlocking phones that are otherwise eligible for it, but for some reason the normal unlock flow isn’t possible (like your case, where you bought it from eBay). Just be aware, Verizon recently changed their unlock policy to never unlock phones that haven’t been fully paid off, so your phone’s status is unclear. YMMV.
